The uniqueness of Hamei Yoav’s thermomineral water lies in its remarkable quality and high concentration of minerals and sulfur, which can be sensed as soon as you enter Hamei Yoav by the smell of sulfur and the sensation of the water on your body.

What are the healing properties of this special water?

The water accelerates the metabolism and speeds up weight loss, rejuvenates skin cells and causes secretion of oils and sweat, thereby cleansing the body, relieving stress and promoting a feeling of relaxation.

The heat of the thermomineral water causes blood vessels to expand, thereby decreasing blood pressure, strengthening the pulse and increasing cardiac output. Medical studies conducted at Hamei Yoav show that the water decreases bodily pain and significantly contributes to the healing of rheumatic ailments and joint infections.

Hamei Yoav’s regular guests report extremely good health and attribute the strength of their immune system to the water.

The water that you find at Hamei Yoav’s pools trickled through the earth over many years until it encountered a layer of rock that prevented it from moving further down. A subterranean lake formed above the rock level, heated by the boiling-hot rock and containing a high concentration of absorbed minerals including a sulfur concentration of 39 mg per liter.

The water is raised from a depth of 1500 m to approximately 70 m below ground through an artesian well and then monitored and pumped to Hamei Yoav at a natural temperature of 39? C (102.2? F) and at a rate of 200 m³ per hour.

The water reaches Hamei Yoav’s thermomineral pools and hydro-massages directly from the bore and is streamed to the nearby lake after use.
